As Americans, we share values founded on freedom. We believe in the innate value of the individual. We believe all humans are created equal. We believe in individual liberty, autonomy, and freedom of belief. We believe in equality under the law. We believe in a colorblind society. We do not judge people based on immutable characteristics. We believe in science and scientific reasoning. We believe in the values of the Enlightenment.
To be crystal clear: American liberals defend this American line. American moderates defend this American line. American conservatives defend this American line.
But not everyone in America is on this line. Not everyone in America believes in these values. In fact, there are groups that want to “disrupt and dismantle”—that is, they want to destroy America. They want to burn it down.
My question for the Eanes School Board: what are you doing to make sure that the ideology of these groups is not being taught in Eanes classrooms?

P.S. If you’re not familiar with the foundations of the groups below—that almost all of them are rooted in communist ideology—then it’s time for more research. I challenge you to disprove this statement: Howard Zinn, Black Lives Matter, Critical Race Theory are all rooted in communist ideology. (Spoiler alert: you can’t disprove it.)
